As the founding director and chief executive officer of Bradford Oncology, Dr. Jagjit Tandon builds upon decades of experience in hematology and oncology. To continue his clinical education and professional development, Dr. Jagjit Tandon regularly attends meetings of various medical organizations, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
Established in 1964, the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) is an international leader in the support of oncology physicians and other professionals who care for patients with cancer. In addition to its history of educating its members through regular gatherings, it spearheads distance learning through ASCO eLearning.
One of ASCO eLearning’s recent offerings is the Multidisciplinary Molecular Tumor Boards (MMTBs) series, which offers examinations of case studies by medical, surgical, radiation, and gynecologic oncologists, as well as pathologists and other clinical professionals with relevant areas of expertise. These cases are available in two formats: slide-based presentations that feature audio commentary from ASCO faculty and text-based presentations that the ASCO presents in conjunction with the College of American Pathologists and the Association for Molecular Pathology.
